I am excited to announce that Midland Community Bank lobbies will be opening Wednesday, July 1st. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we took the necessary steps that we felt would best protect you and our staff from the COVID 19 pandemic. You will notice a few changes in our lobbies and offices when you stop in to visit with us. We have installed barriers to protect both you and our staff. You will also see signs posted at our front doors and markings on our lobby floors as a reminder to follow proper social distancing guidelines by remaining at least 6 feet apart while inside the facility.
For anyone wanting to access their safe deposit box, you will be required to wear a mask as we cannot follow proper social distancing guidelines. For security purposes, anyone entering the lobby with a mask on may be asked to "tip" their mask strictly for proper identification. If you are not feeling well but must visit the bank, we ask that you avoid coming inside and use our drive-thru services for all your banking needs. If you do not yet feel comfortable coming inside the bank to conduct your business, our drive-thru will remain open to conduct all banking transactions during normal business hours. Please keep in mind that our automated systems (online banking, bill payment, automatic draft, direct deposit, mobile banking, and ATM access) are available around the clock. If you have not yet registered for these services, please do so by contacting a Customer Service Representative at (217) 237-4324.
Rest assured that we will be conducting daily screening of our staff to ensure they are not knowingly exposing anyone to a contagious virus. The staff has been instructed to stay home if running a fever or if they have been exposed to a contagious virus. If you see a staff member wearing a mask and/or gloves, they are only doing so as a precautionary measure to limit their exposure. You may also notice the staff taking additional measures between customers to disinfect common contact areas. We are dedicated to providing everyone with a safe environment while visiting our facilities.
